Who we Are
Ohotu Diamond Women Initiative is a women-led, community-based organization committed to advancing the rights, health, and wellbeing of women and girls in Nigeria. Founded and led by sex workers, we understand firsthand the challenges of stigma, discrimination, and inequality.
We provide safe spaces, information, advocacy, and support systems that enable women to live healthier lives, access opportunities, and thrive. Through partnerships, capacity building, and grassroots action, we are shaping a society where women’s choices and rights are respected, and where no woman is left behind.
Mission
Ohotu Diamond Women Initiative exists to empower women, particularly sex workers and vulnerable groups, by promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), advancing economic opportunities, ending gender-based violence, and amplifying women’s voices in leadership and decision-making.
Vision
A world where every woman, including sex workers and marginalized groups, lives with dignity, equality, and the freedom to make informed choices about her body, health, and future.
